The Washington County Health Department has a limited amount of seasonl influenza vaccine available free of charge. We will be giving flu shots on Thursdays, 8:00 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. at the health department, 806 Martinsburg Road, Suite 100, Salem, Indiana. If you have questions, please call 812-883-5603, Extension 2002.
The Washington County Health Department reminds everyone that the department will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2012 in observance of Veterans Day and on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Washington County Health Department has influenza vaccine still available for children ages 6 months to 18 years who are on Medicaid or uninsured. We also still have a limited amount of adult flu vaccine but please call before you come for that shot.
The Washington County Health Department now has a job opening for Environmental Health Specialist. Resumes may be sent to the department at 806 Martinsburg Road, Suite 100, Salem, Indiana Attn: Susan Green.
The health department will host a free flu clinic on Saturday, September 27, 2014, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., conference room (lower level), Wash. Co. Government Bldg., 806 Martinsburg Road, Salem, IN 47167. The flu vaccine is only available for those persons three (3) years and older.
The health department now has available free flu shots at no charge for ages four and up. They are available every Thursday from 8 - 4 until supply lasts. If you have questions, please call the health department, 812-883-5603, Ext. 2002.
